Forecasts

Elusive Prince (16/5), Tonaghneave Well (10/3), Grann's Boy (7/2), Has Me Dreaming (5/1), Ol Man Dingle (6/1), Vaureal (6/1), That's About Right (10/1), Queen Nel (18/1), Kingdom Calling (25/1)

Verdict

GRANN'S BOY pulled well clear of the rest with subsequent winner Tonaghneave Well (renews rivalry on 6 lb worse terms here) at Kilbeggan in July and while he hasn't troubled the judged on the Flat since, it would be no surprise to see this 4-y-o get back on track returned to this sphere. Vaureal's stamina was seemingly stretched upped to 3m in Roscommon handicap and he is open to improvement now back down in trip. The unexposed Has Me Dreaming and progressive Ol Man Dingle also merit respect.

  1. GRANN'S BOY (IRE)
  2. VAUREAL (FR)
  3. OL MAN DINGLE (IRE)
