Verdict

Not for the first time this season, ELMONJED shaped better than the bare result when third behind re-opposing Palmar Bay over C&D 2 weeks ago. He leaves the distinct impression he has a bigger effort in his locker and first-time blinkers could well put an extra edge on William Haggass' charge. Trefor clearly wasn't himself at York but is a definite threat on his previous exploits. Aforementioned Palmar Bay and Haymaker are others to consider in an ultra-competitive final.

  1. ELMONJED (IRE)
  2. TREFOR (IRE)
  3. PALMAR BAY (FR)
