Verdict

Plenty of dead wood in this opener and it's hard to get away from dual bumper winner MY GREAT MATE, who was collared late in the piece on his hurdling debut at Punchestown last month and is open to improvement. El Barakah was runner-up on his completed start in points so he heads up the dangers ahead of Fast Felix, who has finished well held on his last couple of starts but could belatedly build on last season's hurdling debut promise.

  2. EL BARAKAH (IRE)
  3. FAST FELIX (IRE)
