Verdict

Likely to come on for his spin at Newcastle where he was returning from a four-month break, HOWTH could be the answer to this open-looking race. He is now 4 lb lower compared to when finishing a good third in a Class 2 Chelmsford handicap last summer and a reproduction of that would give him every chance. Tenerife Sunshine took a step back in the right direction at Kempton recently and he is feared most ahead of Valsad, Queen of Ipanema and Tiger Beetle.
