Verdict

The return to 1m should suit PHOENIX OPEN who is given a chance to build on a decent run over 7f here last month. Miracles In May has a pretty solid C&D record, including finishing second in a division of this race last year, and should play a part if ready to roll after 3 months off. Almonds was well beaten in her qualifying runs on turf last summer but it's potentially significant that her stable is persevering and she'd enter the reckoning if the betting speaks for her.

  1. PHOENIX OPEN (USA)
  2. MIRACLES IN MAY (IRE)
  3. ALMONDS (IRE)
