Verdict

Having landed an Irish point last year, SAINT DAVY maintained his unbeaten record when seeing off 7 rivals (dual subsequent hurdles winner General Officer among them) in decisive fashion in a Carlisle bumper in October. He is clearly promising and is taken to make it 3-3 on this hurdles debut. Russian Ruler has experience in this sphere to draw upon and should have a significant role to play, while point-winner State of Power, Hymac and Technology are others to consider.

  1. SAINT DAVY (FR)
  2. RUSSIAN RULER (IRE)
  3. STATE OF POWER (IRE)
