Verdict

RIAAN was a little disappointing last time but had shown promise prior to that and retains the potential for better now handicapping so he's the suggestion. Halsafari made a solid start for his new stable when second here a fortnight ago and will be a threat if in the same form. Clody Valley is another to consider after a ready win last time, while Thousand Tears failed to fire in the Greatwood at Cheltenham last weekend but it's still early days for him with the Emmet Mullins yard.
