He will need to be on-song as Magical Effect is greatly respected under a penalty following his clear-cut Pontefract success last week. Ruth Carr's charge looks a bigger threat than fellow recent winner Tashgheel, who boasts a very modest strike rate on turf. Kendred Fire is lurking on a dangerous mark but would probably benefit from faster ground.
