Verdict

Irish-raider RUN FOR OSCAR looked to be well ahead of his mark when powering clear late on at Haydock last time and Charles Byrnes' very useful hurdler has proven stamina too so can make light of an 8 lb rise. Nicky Henderson was triumphant in 2021 and his upwardly-mobile mare Ahorsewithnoname seems sure to be right in the mix with the much improved Evaluation another strrong contender for the home team. Willie Mullins' duo Baby Zeus and Gibraltar complete the shortlist in a cracking renewal.

  1. RUN FOR OSCAR (IRE)
  2. AHORSEWITHNONAME
  3. EVALUATION
