Verdict

FIRE SQUADRON shaped better than the distance beaten when seventh in a big-field novice on debut at Down Royal and, with improvement on the cards, he looks the way to go. Stablemate Mr Solomon is also open to improvement and makes each-way appeal, along with Ben Thomson, but if all is well following a 23-month absence Full Time Score could prove most troublesome.
