Verdict

BALLYMADUN hasn't been firing on all cylinders of late but the handicapper has relented (now 5 lb lower than when runner-up on return at Fairyhouse in November) and he is worth chancing in an open-looking race. Queen of Fame will offer stern resistance if able to build on her latest, much-improved effort at Punchestown, while Memory of Youth and Knock Na Rea also enter calculations.

  1. BALLYMADUN
  2. QUEEN OF FAME (IRE)
  3. MEMORY OF YOUTH (IRE)
