Verdict

The most competitive race of the day on a bumper nine-race Beverley card. Ginger Jam, Mushaarif and Birkenhead feature prominently among those with solid historical C&D records, while it's not beyond the realms of possibility that Jedd O'Keeffe's Kendred Soul can make every single yard of the running from her handy inside berth. However, Paul Midgley holds the key to unlocking this puzzle with James Watt and BUNIANN both preferred to the veteran Line Of Reason. The selection was an eye-catcher over C&D latest (same race as James Watt) and sidestepped an engagement at Haydock yesterday (owing to easing ground).
  1. Buniann
  2. Kendred Soul
  3. James Watt
