Forecasts

Phoenix Approach (3/1), Sands Chorus (16/5), Savanna Gold (10/3), Loose Chippings (13/2), Seven For A Pound (8/1), Bristol Missile (8/1), She's A Belter (14/1), Ivors Involvement (16/1), Graceful Act (18/1), Home For Half Past (28/1), Sunstorm (40/1), Bigbadboy (50/1)

Verdict

An ordinary handicap although there are one or two very well handicapped individuals. One of those would be Sands Chorus off a mark of 62 having won off as high as 86 in the past, he may face some pace pressure from the free-going Ivors Involvement but would be hard to ignore if there was market support. Loose Chippings a fairly solid operator at this level is worthy of respect. Bristol Missile should be involved if he runs again after a crediable second at Yarmouth. PHOENIX APPROACH is trusted with the selection in the hope that he can move forward rather than sideways having failed too really build on the progress that he made on his handicap debut.
  1. Phoenix Approach
  2. Bristol Missile
  3. Sands Chorus
