Verdict

Just a run-of-the-mill 7f handicap but SPANISH MANE won nicely last time and is capable off this kind of mark. She has as good a chance as any in an open affair. There should be little between Pentland Lad and Hi Ho Silver under the revised terms this time, first and second here recently, while despite a 5lb rise Holy Tiber has decent claims after a cosy success at Leicester on her first run since a wind operation. Handicap debutante London is open to improvement and a bold display from her would not be any surprise.
  1. Spanish Mane
  2. London
  3. Holy Tiber
