Verdict

EQUITANT finished behind the front-running Turbine at Leopardstown last month but should be able to turn the tables on the second start for new connections. The gelding has been raised a few pounds but has every chance of going one better. The winner that day took advantage of a soft lead and his jockey was allowed to dictate the pace. It's unlikely he will be allowed to do that again. Bucky Larson will have to pull out another career best performance to land his hat-trick but the manner of his latest win at Gowran Park suggests that could be a possibility. Allegio is interesting off his current mark and in first-time tongue tie.
  1. Equitant
  2. Bucky Larson
  3. Turbine
