Verdict

THE GREAT HEIR is rated just 2lb higher than when finishing second behind Mutamaasik at Doncaster 283 days ago. The front pair came some 6L clear of the remainder that afternoon and the winner was seen to good effect at Royal Ascot this week. Assuming Kevin Ryan's charge is ready to roll; he's got excellent claims here. Arbalet was fancied on first start for this trainer at Newmarket recently and just appeared to wilt late on, he should be all the better for the run and is chief danger while True Mason also has fitness boosted for this and could go well in first-time headgear.
  1. The Great Heir
  2. Arbalet
  3. True Mason
