Verdict

Trainer Joseph O'Brien may have found an ideal opening for the four-year-old son of Dark Angel SAN ANDREAS to win for the fourth time in his career. The gelding had excuses on his return to action in a Listed contest at Navan last week and can get the better of a number of rivals here, notably the Fozzy Stack-trained Woody Creek who is better than his last run behind Sceptical suggests. The Ado McGuinness-trained, Laugh A Minute and Real Force coming back from a 12 month lay-off can compete for remaining prize money.
