Verdict

A number of old stagers here and veteran Englishman could go close if able to continue from where he left off in the winter. Preference though is for the unexposed filly EQUIPPED who won last time on just her fourth start and is open to improvement. Another four-year-old who may have a little more to give is Soldier's Son, still a maiden but expected to break his duck before too long, while Madrinho comes into the reckoning after showing fair from in March and may not be at all far away from the action where it counts. Becker tends to go well fresh and is another worthy of consideration.
