Verdict

A modest handicap in which most of the runners are struggling for form. A chance is taken on handicap debutant GIBRALTARIAN who has hinted in three novice events so far that he may have a modicum of ability and he starts at the right end of the weights. Star of Athena is the form pick on her 1m6f win at Wolverhampton last time but may be vulnerable back in trip off a higher mark, while Hammy End and Taurean Dancer are others in with a shout. If she stays, Shifting Gold wouldn't be out of it either.
  1. Gibraltarian
  2. Hammy End
  3. Star Of Athena
