Verdict

A weak looking Maiden hurdle which should see the much-touted ANDY DUFRESNE get off the mark at the first time of asking over hurdles. The Doyen gelding was a facile winner of a Down Royal bumper when last seen in January and arrives here with a big reputation. The Henry De Bromhead-trained Cobbler's Way looks an interesting hurdling recruit following an 11L win in a Limerick bumper in December while Eden Flight is likely to be well schooled for hurdling debut for trainer Willie Mullins. Other runners for Gordon Elliott, Golden Nomad and Gun Merchant could be lively outsiders.
  1. Andy Dufresne
  2. Cobbler's Way
  3. Eden Flight
