Verdict

Select Opportunity was second in a division of this in 2017, and has since won twice over fences at Sligo. He scored off 13lb higher there last month, and must be considered, for all his hurdles form is patchy of late. Woodbrook Boy has plenty of weight for what he's achieved, but he is another capable of fairly useful chase form, and is shortlisted, but the vote must go to LAGENOD, who split a pair of subsequent winners when fifth at Navan last time, and he appears to be belatedly finding his feet as a hurdler.
  1. Lagenod
  2. Select Opportunity
  3. Woodbrook Boy
