Verdict

If holding his recent form, WESTMEAD could take some stopping in the opener. The George Dobbs-owned gelding caught the eye on hurdling debut at Killarney last month going down by a neck. The four-year-old can hold off the attentions of bumper winner, Ballymacaw on hurdling debut and the Gordon Elliott-trained, Empire Burleque. The daughter of Dubai Destination, Glebe Girl is no forlorn hope.
