Verdict

Three-year-olds have made a decent showing in this since 2010 despite only having 35% if the runners they have won the race four times landing a 1-2-3 in 2017. That age group look to have a strong representation this year with handicap debutante Wings Of Time and C&D winner Moqtarreb both holding strong claims. However, it’s four-timer seeking GLOBAL GIFT who makes the most appeal despite a further 5lb rise for his Doncaster win which saw him quicken well and win with a bit left in the locker. Of the older horses the reliable Balgair should run his race having shown a liking for this venue with Nkosikazi also respected from a decent mark.
