Verdict

A weak opener. The veteran HILLVIEW LAD arrived late to fences (under rules) springing a 25/1 surprise over 2m here recently but the chances are that result was no fluke, and he should take the beating if handling this extra half mile. That form has substance with both the runner-up Alltimegold (Ffos Las) and the third Flints Legacy (Cartmel) being subsequent winners. Precious little else in this race makes any significant appeal, although a very tentative each-way poke could be the front-running Mr Lando.
  1. Hillview Lad
  2. Cnoc Sion
  3. Mr Lando
