Verdict

Very few enter the reckoning in a race which is effectively a low grade 3yo maiden masquerading as a handicap. The Irish-trained duo Born Fighting and Bellepower are worth monitoring for signs of market support, with the John James Feane-trained filly showing reasonably solid overall form in the context of this race. However, the tentative advice is to stick with the Mark Johnston-trained TRUCKINGBY who ran well over 1m2f at Nottingham recently and should appreciate dropping back in trip as a half-brother the capable 7f AW handicapper Portledge.
