Verdict

This looks a decent race for it's type at this venue and the winner will have to run to a mark of around 80 to win it. Armed is already officially rated at that level and connections will be hopeful he can make an early return on their investment and provide his trainer with a first winner. He is giving away a fitness advantage to Allieyf and EMIRATES EMPIRE who have both shown enough to win a race of this nature. The selection is held in high regard at home judged on previous entries and he was just foiled by a fitter rival last time. The longer trip and slightly slower surface here promise to see him improve further and the stable won this in 2016 with a similar sort.
  1. Emirates Empire
  2. Allieyf
  3. Armed
