Verdict

No absolute standout contender although the lightly-raced Sir Mark Prescott-trained ISLE OF AVALON can be viewed as a horse with potential. She edged out today's rival Tommy Docc when winning on handicap debut here on Boxing Day (1m4f) and assuming that she stays this extra yardage can be fancied to confirm those placings on just 2lb worse terms. There's no denying that she was a disappointment at Newcastle latest but that track doesn't suit all horses, and with the blinkers now applied she should relish returning to this much sharper oval circuit.
  1. Isle Of Avalon
