Verdict

The Gigginstown team virtually monopolise this event with five of the seven runners including RSA hopeful DELTA WORK who puts his unbeaten chase record on the line. In so doing he charts the same course as No More Heroes who won this for Gordon Elliott three years ago having taken the Drinmore en-route. That form has been boosted since by Joseph O'Brien's Le Richebourg and the Kilkenny handler saddles the main threat here. Mortal got the better of 143-rated Any Second Now at Fairyhouse and that rival had a fitness advantage too. The longer trip is expected to bring out more and he looks the most potent threat to the selection.

  2. Mortal
  3. Blow By Blow
