Verdict

LEVER DU SOLEIL guessed at the second last flight a week ago at Punchestown and paid the ultimate price. He was running a big race under more positive tactics and likely would have opened his account if he stayed on his feet. That he's turned out seven days later suggests all is well and compensation can be his. Future Proof made a pleasing start over timber when third at Down Royal this month and, with improvement likely, is the big threat seemingly. Easkey Lad may want further but should go well while Ocean Voyage is an interesting recruit to the jumping sphere for Gordon Elliott.
