Verdict

Maiden hurdle winner Wonder Laish is an intriguing contender here having finished strongly on the Flat at Naas last week. His opening handicap mark appears fair and the Charles Byrnes/Davy Russell axis is always respected, any money behind him is worth noting. Ange D'or Javilex is just the sort that Gordon Elliott can improve, though perhaps he'll require some time. Misty Millie, Youngnedofthehill and Rare Conor enter calculations but the booking of Robbie Power suggests a big run is expected of CROSSHUE BOY, who is potentially well-treated in this sphere after a pipe-opener at Galway.
