Verdict

No surprise should the Gordon Elliott-trained pair MONKEYLOU and Flat To The Max fight this out. The latter won nicely on sole start for Ger Lyons on the Flat, but that race hasn't exactly worked out. The selection has more experience and won well at Killarney last month so may also have a fitness edge, ensuring he gets the call under the champion jockey. Chica Buena showed improved form at Listowel last time and commands respect on the back of that while Lever Du Soleil could also be going the right way. Of the others reverting from the Flat, Caldbeck is noted and also represents team Elliott.
  1. Monkeylou
  2. Flat To The Max
  3. Chica Buena
