Verdict

With all due respect to connections, this rates as a very poor finale. Dusty has to be recommended as a major player if able to bring her solid (at this level) Windsor form to the table, whilst Dollar Value also showed improved form on Tapeta at Wolverhampton earlier this month. However, it is MOSSEYB who shines like a gold bar in this company. His trainer Paul Midgley is clearly getting to grips with his new recruit (ex William Haggas-trained), and a step up to 6f looks to be the right call after a late thrust at Beverley, and he ought to prove capable of winning at this level prior to kicking on positively in the future.
  1. Mosseyb
  2. Dusty
  3. Dollar Value
