Verdict

Both Newmarket Warrior and Thello are no strangers to Newcastle, and thankfully for the pair, there are clearly no shortage of 1m to 1m2f low grade handicaps here to contest. The former is difficult to win with, whilst the latter is perhaps strongest over 1m2f, but nevertheless, both horses should be thereabouts. Off Art could have more to offer on the AW (just the sole start so far), but he finished behind the selection PLANETARIA over C&D last month. Julie Camacho's four-year-old (bought for £11,000 in August) is well handicapped on the pick of his past form, and he really caught the eye in chasing home subsequent Southwell scorer Malaspina latest. A 2lb rise is neither here nor there, and he potentially represents some real value in a very winnable contest.
  1. Planetaria
  2. Off Art
  3. Wicker
