Forecasts

Rosie Alice (6/4), Snugsborough Benny (3/1), Steamboat Quay (3/1), Whatever It Takes (4/1), Buster Dan Dan (9/1), Freedom Statue (9/1), Clondaw Farmer (14/1), Maighnealta (16/1), My Betty (16/1), Muroor (16/1), Generous Guest (20/1), Megara (20/1)

Verdict

The eager, Buster Dan Dan will be the one to take the field along here in the early stages, the nine-year-old, ran well for a long way, 11th of 20 at the Galway festival in Tote handicap hurdle earlier this month and could easily hang on for a place in this company. Freedom Statue and Clondaw Farmer are interesting, but this may well be fought out between Whatever It Takes, winner at Kilbeggan, last month in handicap hurdle with 15 rivals behind and STEAMBOAT QUAY, beat 15 rivals here on good ground over 2m4f, sent of the 13/8f.
  1. Steamboat Quay
  2. Whatever It Takes
  3. Buster Dan Dan
