Verdict

Dual bumper winner THE BIRDIE CROWE can get off the mark at the first time of asking by taking the opening race on the card a mares maiden hurdle. The selection registered two bumper wins last season and returns from a break here having been well beaten behind a classy individual at Fairyhouse in February. High School Days has run well in her two most recent hurdles starts and can claim second today ahead of Law Girl who was a disappointment on her debut for this yard at Listowel but who has some useful Flat form in France.
  1. The Birdie Crowe
  2. High School Days
  3. Law Girl
