Verdict

CRESUS DE GRISSAY ran a fine race in a C&D handicap last month and has since been respectable over this trip in similar company at Limerick, so this drop into maiden class gives the gelding a decent chance to open his account. He also ran well enough here in October over a shorter distance and may be improved now. Chestnut Brave comes here on the back of his best effort to date at Tramore and rates a fair danger upped to 3m while Play The Part, who won a bumper here, is another worth noting having run well over shorter at the track last time out. Sweet Home Chicago and Ballinahow Bill are others of some interest.
  1. Cresus De Grissay
  2. Chestnut Brave
  3. Play The Part
