Verdict

A good race in which a credible case could be made out for most of the field on various form-lines. Rousayan showed enough at Thirsk last time out to suggest he will be a tough nut to crack on a course which suits, while Detatchment caught the eye in defeat last time and is potentially well-treated. The one to beat, however, may be GERRY THE GLOVER who has shown more than enough in both starts this season to suggest he can win off his present mark.
