Verdict

This very winnable maiden bumper most likely rests between the clear form horses Dunly and TEESCOMPONENTS LAD. The selection appeared well suited by stepping up in trip at Catterick last month in a race which has yielded the subsequent winner Golden Jeffrey. Whilst he has already been beaten by Dunly at Newcastle, he's probably made more progress than that rival since, and the James Ewart trained four-year-old might have to play bridesmaid for a fourth time in succession despite the able assistance of the North's leading National Hunt jockey Brian Hughes.
