Verdict

BROKEN SOUL made a pleasing start over hurdles at Leopardstown last month, coming home a clear second in a race won by Melon – the ante-post favourite for the Supreme Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham. The Gigginstown runner should be able to build on that and get off the mark now. Miss Mardan returned from a layoff with a good run at Naas last month and should be on the premises again while Not A Whisper promises to be wiser on second jumps start and has an able pilot for assistance. Of the remainder, Bold Sky could play a hand having unseated at Naas just seven days ago on hurdles bow. 1. Broken Soul 2. Miss Mardan 3. Not A Whisper
