More Radio Handicap Hurdle

Course winner at this meeting last year and shaped as if back in form when fourth of 11 at this C&D (good to soft) back in December. Freshened up since and can go well.

Picked up for £31,000 after winning one of his 3 point starts. Minor promise in maiden/novice hurdles and didn't shape at all badly with a view to stepping up in trip when a staying-on fourth of 7 on handicap debut at Sandown (16f, soft) 7 weeks ago. In good hands and progress anticipated.

Placed in Irish points but well held in maiden/novice hurdles over the winter. Sent off much shorter on both handicap starts and showed improved form when third of 8 at Uttoxeter (15.8f, good to soft) 5 days ago. This step up in trip can unlock further progress.

Well held in 2 bumpers but sprung a 25/1 surprise on Fontwell hurdle debut in December. Seems to be going the wrong way though, well beaten on both subsequent starts, but this switch to a handicap should see him in a better light.

Has shown precious little in bumper/novice hurdles but could well prove a different proposition now handicapping with a tongue tie added.

Successful 8 times on the Flat (including on latest outing at Lingfield in December) but he's something of an AW specialist in that sphere and has yet to make any significant impact over hurdles. Easy enough to look elsewhere.

Sole victory came over fences back in December 2023 but has performed with credit over hurdles this season, finishing third of 7 at this track in January. Followed that up with a rare poor effort at Wincanton 4 weeks ago but no surprise to see him bounce back now stepped up in distance.
