Very much bred for hurdling and created a good impression when off the mark in a 16-runner juvenile at Auteuil 3 months ago. Has been picked up by top connections since and looks a major player in this.
Fair Flat winner in Ireland for Gavin Cromwell and has started well over hurdles, doubling his tally in this discipline at Taunton 12 days ago. Lacks the potential of some of his rivals, however.
Useful hurdler. 43/10, won 5-runner juvenile hurdle at Auteuil (17.4f, soft) by 1½ lengths from Sony Bill. Off 7 months. First run for yard after leaving Mathieu Pitart. Sets the standard and no surprise if top stable gets more out of him, so strong claims.
Useful performer on Flat (stays 1½m) for Owen Burrows. New connections acquired him for 78,000 gns and built on hurdling debut when scoring cosily at Wetherby recently. Could improve again, so worth his place in a race like this.
Useful Flat performer and hopes were high for him over hurdles but he's run to just a fair level in 2 starts, taking a keen hold in first-time cheekpieces when well held at Cheltenham a fortnight ago. May yet have more to offer.
Fairly useful handicapper on Flat (stays 1¾m), successful twice in 2024, including final outing. Sold from Martyn Meade 95,000 gns later in October. Tricky start to hurdling career.

Forecasts
Lulamba (1/2), Sauvignon (11/4), St Pancras (12/1), Lavender Hill Mob (16/1), Moutarde (33/1), Hosaamm (33/1), Crown Of India (66/1)
LULAMBA and Sauvignon have both been acquired by excellent handlers after looking above average in France and the suspicion is that they'll be fighting this out, with the first-named marginally preferred. Hosaamm is the pick of the remainder.
