Stolen Silverp1,t63
Age: 10|  Weight: 12-1| J: Dylan Johnston(3)| T: S Thomas| OR:  141| C| D
Very smart chaser at his best but made early mistakes when pulled up on his Chepstow and failed to make an impact over hurdles at Aintree next time. Has been off a couple of months.

West To The Bridget35
Age: 12|  Weight: 11-4| J: Harry Skelton| T: D Skelton| OR:  130
Showed benefit of his reappearance when third at Bangor (19.6f, soft) in November. Not in the same form at Sandown (23.4f, heavy) last time, but he's on a workable.

One Big Bangp110
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-1| J: Henry Brooke| T: James Owen| OR:  127| BF| D
Maiden in Ireland but won first 2 starts for James Owen in the spring and has improved again this autumn, finishing second of 14 in a valuable Betfair Stayers' Handicap at Haydock, then shaping well in fourth at Cheltenham 10 days ago. Cheekpieces and emphasis on stamina will help his cause here.

Classic Concordep15
Age: 12|  Weight: 10-12| J: C Brace| T: D Brace| OR:  124| CD
Prolific over hurdles last season, winning 6 handicaps. Probably needed his Cheltenham reappearance in October but disappointed over fences since. Fairly treated returning to this sphere.

Mahland29
Age: 7|  Weight: 10-9| J: Charlie Deutsch| T: Mrs M Rowley| OR:  121| CD
Progressive over hurdles when stepped up to around 3m, needing no more than hands-and-heels riding when opening his account over C&D in April. Probably needed reappearance at Bangor and is likely to get back on track.

Up For Parol35
Age: 9|  Weight: 10-9| J: G Sheehan| T: Jamie Snowden| OR:  121| C| D
Fourteen runs since last win but decent third at Chepstow (23.6f, good) on final outing last term. Encouraging return from 8-months off when second of 9 (clear of third) in a handicap at Sandown (23.4f, heavy) 35 days ago, not given hard time once chance had gone. Entitled to build on that run.

Rosscahill23
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-8| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: N A Twiston-Davies| OR:  120| C| D
Bought for £70,000 after easily winning an Irish point and has created a good impression in winning a maiden and novice hurdle here, again showing a good attitude last time. Leading claims switched to handicaps.

Age: 7|  Weight: 10-8| J: M G Nolan| T: P Hobbs & J White| OR:  120
Added to his tally at Wincanton (3m) in March. Resumed from 8 months off with an encouraging third (Woodie Flash second) of 11 at Newbury but pulled up at Chepstow subsequently. Too soon to write off.

Balkardy24
Age: 8|  Weight: 10-2| J: Miss Eleanor Williams(7)| T: Evan Williams| OR:  112| C| D
Made light of a six-month lay-off when landing 5-runner handicap chase at Stratford (22.6f, good to soft) in October and generally respectable efforts since, third at Ludlow last time. Not dismissed back hurdling.

Alan De Banks29
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-2| J: S Bowen| T: P & M Bowen| OR:  112
Showed plenty in bumpers last season (first past the post on 2 of his 3 starts in that sphere) and has offered encouragement when hitting the frame on both hurdling outings. Not ruled out on handicap bow.

Forecasts

One Big Bang (2/1), Rosscahill (9/4), Mahland (8/1), West To The Bridge (8/1), Madaket (10/1), Up For Parol (10/1), Alan De Banks (14/1), Stolen Silver (20/1), Classic Concorde (25/1), Balkardy (50/1)

Verdict

ROSSCAHILL won a point easy and has shown a good attitude to maintain his 100% record in a maiden/novice hurdle here, so he's fancied to go in again from an opening mark that could underestimate him. One Big Bang should relish the emphasis on stamina and is a live danger, while Up For Parol should give his running again.
