Produced a high-class effort to defy a BHA mark of 155 in the Summer Cup at Uttoxeter (26.1f, good to soft) in June. Beaten 10½ lengths behind Kinondo Kwetu over the same C&D since but he's 2-2 here, the drop back in trip may help and he'll have every chance if settling (too free last time).

Snapped a run of poor form when landing a 5-runner handicap chase at Uttoxeter (26.1f, good to firm), despite making a number of mistakes. The emphasis on stamina won't be so pronounced here but that's by no means a deal-breaker and he won't go down without a fight if in a similar mood.

Opened chase account in good style at Bangor (3m, good) last August before chasing home subsequent Cheltenham Festival scorer Chianti Classico at Chepstow. Well held over hurdles the last twice but trip/ground fine and capable of a very bold show if he puts his best foot forward back in this sphere.

Twice a winner of small-field handicap chases at around 2½m in 2023, and went close at Market Rasen on the second of his 3 starts since returning from a break in May. This return to a left-handed track will help but a career-best will be needed if he's to prevail here from 4 lb out of the handicap.

Back-to-back hunter winner during the spring but never looked like justifying favouritism in the Summer Plate won by Hang In There at Uttoxeter when last seen in June.

Enhanced excellent record here when winning an 8-runner C&D handicap back from a break last month. However, he was put in his place in a lesser race than this at Perth since and is 7 lb 'wrong' at the weights.

Forecasts

Vintage Fizz (5/2), Pull Again Green (7/2), Hang In There (5/1), Tiger Orchid (11/2), Kinondo Kwetu (13/2), Go On Chez (7/1)

Verdict

Probably best to focus on the trio in the handicap proper and PULL AGAIN GREEN could be worth chancing now returned to the larger obstacles. Kinondo Kwetu resumed winning ways at Uttoxeter with the re-opposing Hang In There back in third and while the latter may well finish closer this time, Sam England's charge is feared most.
