Several to consider in this competitive heat with THOR'S HAMMER shading preference ahead of the consistent Gibbs Island. The latter thoroughly deserves to get his head in front and is not passed over lightly but it was a valuable handicap in which Thor's Hammer was a solid third off this mark at the Curragh and a reproduction of that would probably suffice. Monasterboice opened his account in decisive fashion from the front in a maiden at Killarney and he is best of the rest.
