Weatherbys & Northampton Town FC Handicap Hurdle

Didn't do much wrong in this sphere on the other side of the Channel and won 9-runner 4-y-o event on second chase start at Fontainebleau when last seen in October. Handicapper has taken no chances but leading yard does well with French recruits and the forecast testing conditions won't be a problem.

Made a successful debut over hurdles in 2m novice at Southwell in December. Failed to build on that next 2 starts but back on track when third on handicap bow at Newbury (16.3f, soft) last time and should make his presence felt here off 1 lb lower.

Improved performer over hurdles following wind surgery, confirming promise of his Uttoxeter third when running out a comfortable winner at Southwell (15.8f, soft) in January. Steady pace did him no favours at Huntingdon next time but there's a good chance that such a scenario will also ensue here.
