Has really found his form since switched to handicap company on turf, winning a valuable contest at the Goodwood Festival last time out. 6lb rise fair and should go well again in hat-trick bid.

Shock C&D winner on debut and backed that up with a respectable effort at Haydock next time. Couldn't get competitive in Listed class at Ascot and the handicapper hasn't taken any chances with him.

Plenty of promise in his first two starts and duly got his head in front in fine fashion at Chelmsford. Could only finish second when odds-on at Haydock last time but handicapper has left him on the same mark and remains capable of better.

Very impressive when winning a C&D handicap here last month. Couldn't back that up on his hat-trick bid at Goodwood last time when 13lb higher and had a tough enough race but handicapper has dropped him 2lb for that at least.

Some promise on his first couple of starts and belatedly got his head in front at the fifth attempt at Lingfield. Well beaten when outpaced at Goodwood last time and hard to fancy on that evidence.

Won twice over C&D earlier in the campaign but well beaten in Group 2 company next time out and has failed to land any sort of blow in a pair of recent handicaps. Looks in need of relief from the handicapper.

Won her first two starts and then tried to give plenty of weight away when a beaten odds-on favourite. Still likely there's more to come but others may be better handicapped.

Impressive winner of the Newbury Super Sprint at a big price two starts back and only narrowly denied at Newmarket on handicap debut. More to come from her and only up 2lb for that effort.

Has failed to build on his win at Chester in June with two disappointing efforts back at that course and handicapper has set him stiff task here.

Improved from debut to win a 14 runner contest at Thirsk and he's run well in defeat twice since, most recently when runner-up over C&D. Return to faster ground could be a bonus and handicap mark looks feasible.

Gained a first win from six starts at Haydock last time out when getting the better of Moyassar. Got an easy time of things on the front end that day but yard won this last year and he's respected from 6lb higher.

Got his head in front on his third and final start in a novice event at Newbury last month and still looked a bit green in the closing stages. Rates as the type to kick on from that here and the handicapper hasn't gone overboard with opening mark.

Placed twice at this course before he was only narrowly denied at Redcar last time. Green in the closing stages that day and needs more here in first-time cheekpieces

Didn't need to improve to win at odds-on at Hamilton on his fourth start. Well beaten in the super sprint at Newbury but produced a better effort when runner-up at Musselburgh last time. Up 4lb here but shapes like the step up in trip will suit.

Left his first couple of starts behind when runner-up at Windsor and justified favouritism at Sandown last time. Up 6lb for that but in command before the finish and likely there's more to come.

Got her head in front on her third start at Ripon and while she was favourite for that contest, there was plenty to like about the manner of the win. More needed in deeper company but handicapper has given her a chance.

Verdict

GINGER NUT proved her Super Sprint success was no fluke when only narrowly denied at Newmarket last time and only up 2lb for that effort, she ought to go well again here. Don Armado is only up 6lb for his latest win and should run well off top weight while Moyassar may be seen to better effect. It will be interesting to see whether he can reverse the form with Blyton whose connections won this last year.
