Inconsistent performer more recently and finds himself on a career high mark after a promising effort at Ascot in October. May have needed the run at Kempton last time but needs to have improved if he's to take this.
Very consistent sort and pulled out a career best at York when last seen, making all and holding on gamely in the finish. Useful claimer removes 5lb to help off set the rise in the weights and still not fully exposed. Should run well.
Losing run mounting up now, won a Listed race in 2015 but not won since and only seen once last season when eighth of 14 here. Entitled to need this on only his second starts in 20 months.
Made it three wins from five starts on his final run of 2017 at Catterick. This looks a much stronger race but likely to run well from just 5lb higher and versatile with regards ground.
Handicapper has possibly caught up with him judged on his most recent efforts and didn't show enough at Wolverhampton last time to be of any interest here.
Doesn't get his head in front often any more and showed very little on return at Naas last time. Still above his last winning mark and others preferred.
Won the 2014 Prix de l'Abbaye but not won for getting close to three years now. Best effort in some time on AW at Newcastle last time and obviously well-handicapped but not the type to back that up.
Only two wins from 24 starts and only in moderate form on AW lately. De Sousa prefers Erissimus Maximus.

Storm Over (9/4), Major Jumbo (7/2), Erissimus Maximus (11/2), Evergate (7/1), Move In Time (10/1), Orient Class (10/1), George Bowen (12/1), Super Julius (12/1), Arzaak (14/1), King Of Rooks (20/1)
STORM OVER is much less exposed than the majority of his rivals and he can make it four wins from six starts if ready to go on his return to action. The selection's stablemate Evergate is another capable on his day while Major Jumbo is as consistent as they come and ran well when last seen winning at York.
