Only lost out narrowly in a Group 3 here behind Brando last year but has become inconsistent as he's aged. Ran okay at Newmarket in July but not beaten many home in two starts since and looks opposable here.
Inconsistent sort who got off the mark for this yard at Newmarket last month. Needs a fast pace to be seen at his best and has won off higher marks than this but he's not one to rely upon.
Fairly consistent sprinter and has four wins under his belt. Ran a cracking race when narrowly beaten over C&D in July but faced a stiff task at Goodwood last time when well down the field. Chance on his best form.
C&D winner who has been out of form since winning at Epsom earlier in the season. Shaped better last time out, hinting that a return to form may be near and he's back below his last winning mark.
Not won since the start of the 2016 season and seemingly regressing. Still above her last winning mark and looks opposable in softer ground than is likely to be ideal.
Failed in hat-trick bid last time out and looks up against on softer ground than what he would prefer. Yard have been flying of late and any market support should be noted but likely to need a little relief from the handicapper before winning again.
Won twice last year and impressive when winning at Doncaster earlier in the season. Probably has one in her off this sort of mark but she would prefer to see faster ground.
Recorded his second C&D win two starts back and respectable effort at Brighton last time. Clearly enjoy this course and gets the services of De Sousa for the first time here so he may prove hard to peg back.
Winner at Windsor earlier in the season and running well in defeat subsequently until last time when perhaps going too hard on the front end. Not ideally drawn for those tactics here and needs the first-time blinkers to improve him.
Recorded a hat-trick as a juvenile and has bounced back to form with two wins this season. Latest win came off this mark and gets the services of a talented 3lb claimer but may want conditions a little quicker than what she will get here.
Forecasts
Bahamian Sunrise (5/1), Shamshon (5/1), Show Stealer (11/2), Kasbah (13/2), Justice Lady (8/1), Lydia's Place (8/1), Majestic Hero (11/1), Super Julius (12/1), Farleigh Mac (12/1), Monsieur Joe (14/1)
BAHAMIAN SUNSHINE may be the one to beat with Silvestre De Sousa taking over for the first time and the gelding has winning course and distance form to his name. Fillies Justice Lady and Lydia's Place are capable of winning a race like this off this sort of mark but both may want faster ground to be seen at their absolute best.
