Arrived here on a high mark having won multiple races in Italy and beaten out of sight on his first two starts but signs a return to form was imminent last time out in the Northumberland Plate when not beaten all that far; interesting runner if he can build on that.
Prolific winner in India who was comfortably held in a couple of valuable races in Meydan earlier in the year. Signs this mark could be within reach at Windsor on UK debut and possible he will come on for that run and appreciate the step up in trip. Could go well.
Progressive on the AW around the turn of the year but handicapper seemingly caught up with him now and yet to win in seven attempts on turf. Eye-catching jockey booking but others arrive with stronger claims.
Kept on well to win on fast ground at Salisbury three starts back but he's raced too keenly on two subsequent outings. Shapes like he will appreciate this step up in trip and leading claims if he can settle better having won in softer conditions earlier in his career. Useful 5lb claimer booked.
Won a maiden at Chelmsford towards the end of last year and ran well on return at Bath on fast ground but starting to look exposed after failing to make the frame on last four outings and may want a drop back in and a return to faster ground to be seen to best effect.
Justified favouritism on his latest two starts and only been raised 6lb for those efforts. Not certain to stay this far but obvious claims if he does and he's less exposed than the rest of his rivals.
Forecasts
Uae King (6/5), Mister Manduro (9/4), Mark Hopkins (8/1), Wolfcatcher (14/1), Desert God (16/1), Isharah (16/1), Cosmelli (20/1), Gavlar (25/1)
UAE KING looks like the one to beat in his bid for a hat-trick with more improvement likely here. Mark Hopkins is better than he showed last time and could run well if he settles better but Desert God might be the main danger to the selection if he can settle better.
