SECOND COLLECTION - 7.30 Wolverhampton
It's a low-grade Classified Stakes and stakes should be kept low accordingly but there's enough to like about SECOND COLLECTION from stall one in this. He's not the horse he was but looks to have found his level again knows this place extremely well so it would be no surprise were he to add a fifth course success to his tally following last week's third.

REALISATION - 3.35 Market Rasen (NAP)
REALISATION made a promising start to her chasing career, hitting the frame at both Warwick and Lingfield, which saw her sent off at just 5/1 for a competitive contest at Cheltenham. She struggled there but has been given time to recover from that disappointment and now returns to the fray with her yard in fine form. For all this is a drop in grade, it could turn out to be competitive enough but Realisation created a good impression on those first two chase starts and this bumper and hurdle winner can complete the set.
LIR SPECIALE - 3.22 Newcastle
Brewing is six from 12 on the all-weather with four of those wins coming at Newcastle, including last time when fitted with a tongue tie. That win and his previous one at Kempton came off a mark of 93 with six defeats in between so he might not find life easy off 95 unless the tongue tie has made a notable difference. As such, a chance is taken with LIR SPECIALE who made an eyecatching debut for his new connections at Southwell and may be able to step up on that. Lir Speciale is up markedly in grade but was rated 97 at his peak (76 here) so won't be out of his depth if retaining his ability and is well worth a shot at this prize.
MINELONE - 5.00 Southwell
MINELONE was taken out of a similar contest over C&D a couple of weeks ago but is presumably none the worse for wear. A seven race maiden who has already been tried in a variety of aides, Minelone has finished third on his two visits to Southwell - both over seven furlongs - and seems well suited by the demands of this venue. He promises to be suited by this first course run over a mile and has shown enough to think that he can win a race of this nature.
